Huhu!

Ja, ich lebe (und nähe) noch... nicht daß ihr Euch Sorgen um mich macht! Es war nur soviel anderes die letzte Zeit, was mich beschäftigt hat und solange da nichts wirklich berichteswertes oder spruchreifes dabei ist, kann ich irgendwie garkeinen schönen Post schreiben.
Was am meisten Zeit geraubt hat, ist die Überlegung, ob, wann und wo wir vielleicht mal ein Haus kaufen oder bauen werden/wollen. Liebe Güte, wenn man sich anfängt damit zu beschäftigen (wir gehören natürlich auch nicht zu denen, die das aus der Portokasse zahlen), das ist ja ein extra-Studium wert. Einen Traum haben wir immerhin schonmal, jetzt heisst es wohl langsam machen, sparen und keinen unüberlegten Schritt tun. Bei Gelegenheit werd ich weiter berichten. Aber das ist echt aufregend!!
Eigentlich gibt es schon was von der Nähfront zu erzählen, ich habe z.B. mich hiervon motivieren lassen, meine japanischen Stoffreste aufzubrauchen. Ich fand es immer so schade, daß ich die schönen Stöffchen nur zum Verkaufen nutzte, schliesslich kann ich soviele Täschchen garnicht brauchen. Jetzt nähe ich aus den Reststücken ganz viele nine-patches, die Größe der einzelnen Vierecke ist 2,5inch, das sind etwa 6,3cm, das bekomm ich auch aus den letzten Stückchen noch raus. Ich werde die Decke ohne die weissen Zwischenteile nähen, dafür brauche ich aber dann mehr als im Original-oder die Decke wird sehr viel kleiner. Und eines pro Tag schaffe ich auch nicht, aber das ist ja egal. Ich liebe sie jetzt schon!

Well, I'm still alive and sewing...don't worry! There were so much other things around, but nothing really ripe for decision, so I couldn't write a good post on it.
The most time-consuming thing was, to consider, where, when and how we can buy or build a house for us. My goodness, to busy with this case is worth to take lessons at the university...Finally we have a dream now, so we're going to keep it slowly, save money and try to do nothing blindfold. I will tell you more lateron. Very exciting!!

There is also news from the sewing studio. I've been motivated by this. I was always sad about my japanese fabrics, because I only use them for pouches and purses for my shop-but not for me, who needs tons of pouches...Now I sew nine-patches from the scraps, the small squares are 2,5inch /6,3cm wide, this is small enough to get it from the smallest pieces. I will sew the quilt without the white sashing, therefore I need much more nine-patches-or the top will be much smaller. Also I'm not able to sew one per day, but I don't mind this. I really love them right now!!
