Vor ein paar Wochen sah ich das hier und konnte zunächst nicht widerstehen, etwas zu entwerfen um mitzumachen. Zwischendrin hab ich etwas die Lust verloren, weil es doch ziemlich aufwändig wurde, aber ich hab es jetzt doch geschafft! Jetzt wo sie fertig ist, mag ich sie doch ganz gerne leiden, auch wenn nicht sooo viel reinpasst (Durchmesser etwa 25cm) und sie evt. etwas empfindlch ist, da die Blütenblätter recht lose appliziert sind um einen mehr dreidimensionalen effekt zu bekommen. Kurz vor Schluss hab ich sogar noch mal neue Blätter genäht, weil ich meine erste Idee mit den türkisen schmalen Blätern nicht mehr schön fand. Deswegen blieb dann auch einiges übrig, um z.B. die Blütenbrosche, die jetzt am Schulterriemen hängt, zu machen.

Some weeks ago I saw this and couldn't resist to design something for joining the contest. After starting I didn't felt like finishing it one time, because it seemed very timeconsuming to me, but now it is done! I like my (now finished) bag what I didn't expect while working on it actually, because it is not that big (diameter ca. 10'') and even a bit delicate with the sometimes a bit loose appliqued leaves (for a more three-dimensional effect).
Near completion I sewed some leaves new, because I decided the mint-coloured leaves are ugly. So at the end I had left over for making f.e. the brooche which is pinned on the shoulderstrap.
